EMMISON Rohde set her sights on a career as a radiographer after receiving a first-round offer to study at RMIT.

The offer is another feather in the cap of the St Joseph’s dux, who achieved an outstanding ATAR of 96 and a study score of 45 in business studies.

Emmison was delighted with the offer and is keen to make the move to Melbourne.

“I was tossing up between radiography and speech pathology,” she said.

‘‘I did some work experience at Echuca hospital while I was still at school and I found radiography very interesting.

“And I’ve spoken to people currently studying radiography and got some really positive feedback.

“You have to do a year of work placement at the end of your degree, so I’m looking forward to that and seeing where it takes me.”
