Man arrested over woman's disappearance

A man has been arrested over the disappearance of Pyramid Hill woman Krystal Fraser.

Almost nine years after she vanished.

Missing Person Squad detectives arrested a 61-year-old Pyramid Hill man this morning as part of their investigation into Krystal’s disappearance..

The man was arrested in Pyramid Hill before being interviewed by police and released pending further inquiries.

A heavily pregnant Krystal, who was days away from giving birth at the time she disappeared, was last seen on June 20, 2009, in Pyramid Hill.

Investigators believe Krystal, then 24, was murdered and despite extensive investigations, are yet to find her.

In June 2012, a reward of up to $100,000 was announced in relation to her disappearance.

The reward will be paid at the discretion of the Chief Commissioner, for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her death.

Investigators have thanked everyone who has provided information over the past nine years and continue to appeal to anyone who has knowledge of her whereabouts to come forward.
