ECHUCA Specialist School will upgrade their iPads and take a trip to the zoo thanks to $10,000 from the Commonwealth Bank.

CommBank’s Echuca branch nominated the school in recognition of the important services it provides to the community.

Specialist School principal Paul Marshall said the zoo trip will add to what the students learnt about animals this term.

“The excursion was in doubt due to lack of funds, but we are thrilled the grant allows this to go ahead,” he said.

CommBank’s Taryn Fagan said it was the amazing work undertaken by the special school that was a crucial factor in it receiving the grant.

“We’re thrilled to be able to support Echuca Specialist School in the amazing work they do for the local community,” she said.
