College students to unite for music performance

By Riverine Herald

SIT down, eat, relax and enjoy the music presented by Echuca College at 1895 The Royal on Saturday night.

Echuca College presents Musicians United — a showcase of their students’ musical talents.

Music teacher Alanna Rix said she was excited for the students to show off their skills.

‘‘The students have been busy preparing since the beginning of the year,’’ she said.

‘‘There will be around 20 students across all year levels performing lots of different styles of music from piano solos to a six-piece band.’’

Saturday’s performance is a practice for younger students to gain confidence in their presentations while for the older musicians it is their performance assessment.

‘‘It is very important for students to perform for their own confidence and is equally important they are well supported in their music,’’ Alanna said.

‘‘The audience can expect to be entertained by a huge range of very talented students.’’

The event starts at 6pm in the bistro area.
